Short description
Overload Reactor is a free neon arcade game about greed and nerve. Cells charge on a reactor grid; the longer you wait, the more they're worth, and the closer they come to overloading. Vent them at the last moment, link them into chains, and keep the core below meltdown.
Longer description
You are the reactor's last operator. Glowing cells appear on an 8×8 grid, and a ring around each one fills as it charges. A cell vented at MAX pays forty-five times one vented early, but a cell left too long bursts and spills more cells across the grid. Fill the core to 80% and a meltdown fuse starts.
Every run is a string of small bets: which cells to let ripen, when to swipe a line of matching cells for a link bonus, when to catch a blast in its last red instant, and when to spend one of five Stabilizer charges. Sectors change the rules as a run goes on, and a Daily board gives every player the same challenge each day.
The game runs in any browser with nothing to download, works offline once visited, and is fully playable by keyboard with reduced-motion and colorblind options.
